First Time Dance Parent Survival Guide
Brand New to the Dance World? No worries we are here to help you through your first year. Follow these few tips & tricks to have a stress-free first year!
Tip #1:
Register Early!
Tip #2:
Used Shoes are a Parent's Best Friend!
We offer a used shoe trade in program to help parents save money and time.
Purchase shoes a little bigger to grow into them throughout the year.
Tip #3:
First Day of Class: Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class.
Tip #4:
Update Email Address: Make sure to provide us with your updated Email Address
Tip #5:
Follow us on Facebook & Instgram to stay up-to-date on everything at CSDA!
Tip #6:
Since we have such a small area for dancers, we are limited to allowing parents to watch every class! As the Holidays get closer, we allow parents to watch for a few minutes. Also, as recital gets closer, we allow parents to come in for a few minutes. However, we do have a waiting room that parents are allowed to stay in if they would like to wait for their dancer inside!
Tip #7:
Due to fire code, we are not allowed to have people standing in the hallways blocking doors. If you would prefer not to wait in the waiting area, you are more than welcome to go back outside.
We hope that these Tips help you through the beginning months of your first dance season!
